Signs America, Inc. is a San Francisco based women-owned and operated company formed in 1993.  We have a staff of nine full time sign professionals, all with many years of experience in the sign industry.  Our scope of work includes in-house fabrication and installation of custom architectural graphics.

Signs America specializes in both retail and commercial signage programs.  The retail side of the business fabricates A-frames, menu boards, window and vehicle graphics, exterior dimensional letters (both illuminated and non illuminated), hand painted graphics, digital printing, awnings and much more.

The commercial side of Signs America sub-contracts with general contractors to provide interior and exterior sign programs for low-cost housing, office buildings, libraries, high schools, colleges and public buildings.  We specialize in ADA compliant signs, which include tactile and Braille signs, evacuation maps, suite signs, directional signs, lobby directories, and dimensional letters. Signs America also specializes is way finding programs for campuses and shopping centers.

Signs America stays current with changing federal, state and local ADA laws.  We recently re-designed the specifications for the tactile and Braille evacuation maps and had the design approved by the Lighthouse for the Blind, the Mayors Office on Disability and the San Francisco Fire Commissioner.
